Our conventions are weekend events focused on bringing today's youth closer to Christ through speakers, worship and interaction with other kids in the same age groups.
More than half of all high school graduates fall away from God in their freshman year of college and we are trying to reach out to kids at every age, hoping that one day that number will lessen or diminish completely.
ImpactImpact was our first convention (dating back to the 1970’s). In fact, some of the guys who run it now came to it when they were teens! Impact is designed for just the high school student. Impact allows us to address specific topics and themes relevant to the high school student. Held each fall at the Roanoke Convention Center, it brings in hundreds of students from all over for a weekend that will change lives. We bring in some of the best talent from all over the country (worship, speaker, drama, etc) to make this an incredible weekend that will challenge and minister to your teen. Roanoke is a beautiful mountain valley town that makes a great backdrop to an incredible weekend. Hope to see you there! |
LaunchLaunch is our convention designed with your middle school student in mind. No longer a child and just beginning to enter the teen years, middle school can be a turbulent time in a student’s life both socially and spiritually. Launch is designed to be an oasis of sorts for these students during the school year. Encouraging speakers, powerful worship and top notch entertainment acts (like KJ-52, Emmy Award Winning Taylor Mason to name a few). This is an incredible weekend that will allow your students to grow closer to one another and more importantly, grow closer to their creator. |
Ground ZeroGround Zero is our convention designed just for the pre-teen in grades four and five. Join over 500 other pre-teens from across Virginia for a weekend designed to engage these students at their level. Interactive worship, exciting speakers, hands-on workshops and much more. This is a great weekend that will allow you a chance to spend time with your students in an environment other than the classroom. |
Impact: Mexico Impact Mexico was created five years ago when it was decided it was time
to provide a way for our high school students to make an IMPACT.
Every summer, we reserve two weeks at Campo De Sueno in Enseneda, Mexico for SMOV. Each week will
accommodate about 100 students and sponsors and each year we have to turn people away because we run out of room. |
