Impact Mexico: Summer 2008

Student Ministries of Virginia is sponsoring its sixth year Missions Project this summer. We will be working together with Scott and Anna Wester at the Ensenada Outreach Center in Ensenada, Mexico. This promises to be 2 great weeks of service to God and to others as we as a group of Virginians will have the opportunity to build houses for a number of needy families in the local villages. In a week’s time you will build a house from the ground up and have the opportunity to meet and spend some time with the family you will be serving. This year we are also offering you the opportunity to bring a group to specifically do a week long Vacation Bible School program. Please make a note on your registration form if you would like to take advantage of this option. What a great opportunity to minister in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This year we are offering 2 separate weeks of service.

Construction costs run about $4050.00 per house! This covers all your building materials, and the the leadership of a skilled national worker to work with your group.

Passports are required for trips to Mexico. You should recommend that students apply for passports as soon as possible. It can take a long time to get them.
